We’re seeking talented and committed Nursing and Midwifery Professionals for our Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Service (TCHHS) Talent Pool. The talent pool is used to source suitable applicants for temporary, casual and permanent employment opportunities across the TCHHS including our very remote facilities.The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) positions are both permanent and temporary. Offering the unique opportunity to work at Primary Health Care Centres (PHCC) within the TCHHS. The CNC will assist in the development and provision of Acute and Primary Health Care Services, mentoring and supporting the primary health care clinicians throughout TCHHS

  • Knowledge of information management tools or ability to rapidly acquire the skills needed to use patient and staff information systems.

  • Requirements for the role: Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and/or registration/endorsement with the appropriate registration authority/association. Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager, prior to commencement of clinical duties. Current registration with the Australian Health Practice Registration Authority (APHRA) as a registered nurse and current practising certificate is mandatory.
