  • Gymnastics Western Australia is the peak body for the sport of gymnastics in Western Australia.     We are currently looking for a Club Engagement Coordinator  to join our team in Leederville.

    To be considered for this position, you will need to have previous experience in working in Stakeholder or Member Engagement, along with knowledge and administrative experience in a sporting / similar role.

    You will also need to demonstrate:

  • The ability to effectively develop and manage initiatives and projects
  • Advanced computer skills and information technology knowledge (including use of Social Media)
  • Intermediate proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to develop relationships with clubs, stakeholders and external customers
  • Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation, relationship building and presentation skills.
  • Advanced planning, organisation and administration skills
  • Drive, passion and initiative
  • The ability to work in a team environment and autonomously
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Current Driver’s Licence
  • Working with Children Card
  • National Police Clearance
  • You will be responsible for Club and Workplace Development as well as Planning, Reporting and other general duties as required. 

    This will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Planning, coordinating and implementing the Gymnastics WA Member Club Engagement Strategy
  • Planning and delivering Club Development workshops and forums for Member Clubs.
  • Coordinating the club affiliation process
  • Planning and delivering the Go for 2 & 5 Gymnastics WA Conference
  • Providing leadership and oversight of the Gymnastics WA Education Calendar
  • Recruiting, managing and training the Gymnastics WA Presenter and Assessor workforce
  • Reporting on the Gymnastics WA Strategic and Operational Plan
  • Other reporting are required, including the annual report, grant and funding reports.
  • Attending and contributing in the operation of Gymnastics WA events as required
  • Attending meetings and representing Gymnastics WA on various groups and committees as required
  • The position is a full time position working, however a flexible approach to working hours is required due to the nature of working within a state sports association. The nature of the position requires some out of hours and weekend work, which is recognised in the remuneration package offered.
