Based in Kelvin Grove, we are looking for a self-motivated, highly organised and professional individual to join our team as a Commercial Finance Manager – Quarries & Logistics.As the Commercial Finance Manager will be responsible for partnering with the key Quarries and Logistics business leaders to improve decision support and commercial focus whilst driving superior commercial and financial outcomes.

  • Driving business performance including supporting Boral’s Continuous & Value Improvement Programs
  • Provide independent financial perspectives to the senior leaders
  • Support customer and general commercial arrangements
  • Work closely with the business leaders to effectively develop the business planning and strategy
  • Foster relationships with all operational and functional stakeholders
  • Use high level experience and knowledge to assess risk implications and opportunities
  • Developing the financial literacy within the business
  • Delivery of Budgets, Forecasts, and a range of other management reporting and analysis
  • Provide Financial support to Capital projects including development of business cases

Must haves:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications, preferably in Commerce, Business, Finance or Economics
  • CA/CPA certified
  • Proven experience in providing expert advice on financial outcomes pertaining to end to end sales, logistics and operations in large and complex industrial or manufacturing businesses
  • Proven experience of planning, managing and organising resources within short / medium timescales
