About the Role
Communications Assistants receive, record and quickly progress emergency phone calls made to Triple Zero (000) while providing first aid advice over the phone and reassurance to distressed members of the community. They are the first contact for callers in emergency situations and must be able to handle stressful situations with maturity, empathy, calmness and accountability. If you are resilient, available for shift work, with an ability to touch type a minimum of 30 words per minute and are looking for a career rather than a job, please read the Communications Assistant information sheet by clicking .
