Mission: Grow engagement of our franchise members through internal communications, working across Loan Market business to develop and execute communication strategies to drive business objectives, adoption and targets. Reporting to the Head of PR & Communications, this role is responsible for social media and all internal communication messages.

The role.

As the Communications Coordinator, you will be the voice and vibe of the Loan Market Group. You’ll nail every message and know how to adapt your writing for all our communication channels including email, SMS, video, social media and in our multi-award winning platform. 

The job is not for the faint of heart; you’ll thrive under pressure and love juggling multiple tasks at a time to hit deadlines. In short, you’ll never be bored. 

You’ll be lightning-fast responding to the news cycle, keeping our social media channels vibrant and up to date. You will love taking products and tools to market, finding new ways to hype up our network but you’ll also roll up your sleeves and get into the data – analysing what’s working and why.

This role is a vital part of the greater marketing team at Loan Market. You are autonomous, have big ideas and want to bring innovation to the communication space. You’ll understand how to work with multiple stakeholders and work collaboratively with our corporate team at all levels.

Your ownership will include:

  • Network Communications CalendarGathering and writing content/information for monthly newsletters Brief communications designs into Design StudioEnsure contributors are making deadlinesBuild campaigns through communications platform; MailChimp Manage communications calendar with managerIdeation and creation of campaignsDeliver full communications plans across all channelsReporting and insights into comms performance for future learnings Manage comms projects from start to finishAssist with editing/reviewing
  • Awards and rankingsAwards and rankings calendar; track and keep the team abreast of upcoming industry awards (submission opens/closes, event etc.)Develop internal flow processes to ensure engagement of awardsSource internal data for rankings and awardsLiaise directly with state directors, business owners and brokers Assist in managing freelancers Develop and build marketing collateral for winners, finalists and people who rank (social media tiles, template releases, badges, email signature, video)
  • Social media Create monthly social plansDaily posting and schedulingMaintain #1 engagement on LinkedIn with engaging content

  • Qualifications

  • Marketing or Communications degree equivalent
  • Experience

  • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally 2+ years agency or client-side
  • Knowledge and expertise executing communication campaigns across all mediums 
  • Social media experience (reporting and engagement) 
  • Digital marketing experience (SEO, PPC, Display and Retargeting)
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint), EDM tools (e.g. Mailchimp) and or marketing automation platforms (e.g. Hubspot)
  • Experience analysing data and results
  • Ability to coordinate and manage multiple stakeholders and understand their needs
  • Desirable but not essential:

  • Experience within financial and or property sectors
  • Experience working in a franchise business
