Our highly reputable and well-known client have multiple Part Time opportunities available for people who are passionate about Customer Service, have a genuine interest to assist people and are serious about starting their career in banking and finance. Based in either the Southern or Western suburbs, your role will be assisting customers through various tools and negotiations to find solutions in order to bring their loan, credit card or transaction account into balance.

This opportunity will suit university students or people who have other commitments and are looking for a flexible role, where you are a key team member and can work in a rewarding and supportive environment! Hours will be 5pm-9pm initially, with potential for increase.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling calls from customers, providing professional assistance using positive language to truly understand the customers situation
  • Work a portfolio of accounts, implementing and utilising strategies and legal processes to ensure all accounts are managed in the most time and cost-effective manner
  • Negotiating with customers to find sustainable solutions to their financial situation
  • Providing a positive experience for the customer through positive language and tone, building a rapport with customers
  • Achieve agreed key performance measures
  • Key Skills and Experience:

  • Experienced in a customer service environment, where you have serviced customers either over the phone or face to face
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Experience in a hardship’s role will be highly regarded
  • Resilience and Empathy is your key to success in this role
  • Students who are currently studying are high encouraged to apply
  • A Finance/business or a psychology background will be highly regarded
  • Key Requirements:

  • Flexible Part-Time arrangements available between Monday -Friday
  • Option to work between 5pm-9pm or anywhere from 7.30am-7.30pm
  • Must be able to pass a National Police History Check and 2 Referee Checks
  • Must be available to commence immediately, although ample notice will be given if successful
