About the Role

We have multiple, ongoing opportunities available in our National Administration Centre in Adelaide CBD. The roles are to assist in the delivery of Australian Government employment services for Workskil Australia.

Customer Service Team

You will support inbound and outbound calls with no sales required. The role supports a diverse range of customers across Australia who require support with Centrelink and employment service requirements. You will complete administration tasks to support our 70 sites nationally whilst offering exceptional customer service to all customers internally and externally.

You may be required to work a roster between the hours of 8am – 7:30pm Monday to Friday.

About You

To be successful in either role you will be able to:

  • Demonstrate outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to engage on the telephone with diverse customers who require support with sensitive and emotional matters;
  • Demonstrate excellent administration skills, attention to detail and computer literacy, including the ability to type 30 words per minute;
  • Demonstrate strong written communication skills;
  • Prove your ability to multi-task, you will be required to work across various IT systems whilst maintaining telephone contact;
  • Demonstrate experience in understanding complex administrative procedures and ensure clear communication of these requirements is undertaken for a diverse range of customers;
  • Demonstrated experience working to targets and KPIs;
  • Demonstrate experience in administration or customer service, with jobactive experience desirable;
  • Demonstrate your ability to learn new systems quickly;
  • Demonstrate ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Experience in Employment Services (advantage)
  • Demonstrate experience in inbound or outbound contact centre environment is considered advantageous; and
  • Hold qualifications in administration or customer service (desirable).

    A competitive salary will be negotiated commensurate with skills and experience. As Workskil Australia is a public benevolent institution, we can also offer a portion of the salary through tax effective salary packaging.
