+ Lead large or complex Symantec Consulting Services engagements including strategy development and solution design, IT, compliance, and business process assessments, organisational analysis and design, and business process re-design
+ Plan, design, develop, and review pre-sales or implements processes and plan and lead multiple opportunities, initiatives or projects
+ Work on extremely complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of both tangible and intangible variables
+ Interface with all levels of influencers and technical decision makers at the customer
+ Recognise new business opportunities in the account and helps to build and qualify pipeline of opportunities
+ Design/architect/Deliver solutions that match Symantec’s portfolio to customer’s need both locally and regionally as required (Travel required)
+ Use professional concepts to contribute to development of company concepts and principles and to achieve objectives in creative and effective ways
+ Lead and coach other technical resources working in the customer account/engagement and practice
+ Identify, articulate, and develop follow-on sales opportunities
+ Develop value-added, strategic solutions for service offerings, delivers these solutions to Clients and shares best practices throughout the organization
+ Maintain network of key technical contacts throughout the corporation, developing relationships across other Symantec units to ensure the best use of resources and knowledge
+ Develop and maintain a broad knowledge and understanding across all of Symantec’s product lines and the related adjacent and competitive technologies
+ Presents value proposition, benefits, key features and functions across all solution sets
+ Present the Symantec technical strategy coherently and consistently to a technical and business audience
+ Participate in the development and rollout of new offerings
+ Recommend Consulting solutions and lead implementation of them as approved
+ May have Consulting Services engagement management responsibilities
+ Identify and resolve Consulting Services engagement issues. Develop and analyze alternative solutions
**Qualifications and experience**
+ Tertiary qualifications in IT coupled with relevant security certifications
+ Thorough understanding of technical concepts required for specialized field of security
+ Ideally possesses some general knowledge on Symantec products, but may have in depth product specialisation in one or two Symantec product families
+ 5+ years experience in consulting services or similar
+ Passion for security and technology
