My Life offers a high quality, client focused day program that empowers and enables people living with disabilities to maximise opportunities for attainment of their personal goals and lifestyles. Due to the current Centre Director taking parental leave we are seeking a passionate and goal driven person to lead this team and make a difference to our client’s lives in her absence.

Job Purpose

As the Day Program Manager/Centre Director you will provide innovative leadership managing a high quality, client focused My Life Day Program that empowers and enables people living with disabilities to maximise opportunities for attainment of their personal goals and lifestyles. This will include, but is not limited to:

  • Providing team supervision and leadership to provide exceptional individual support services to people with a disability, modelling quality service delivery through a person-centred active support; underpinned by the National Standards for Disability Services.
  • Ensure the My Life pillar provides best practice, high quality service delivery to people with a disability in line with the Strategic Plan, Budget, Annual Work plan and agreed targets.
  • Assist the General Manager to increase awareness of the My Life program.
  • Mentor and coach team to create a culture of accountability and client focus.
  • Experience as a Manager or Centre , in a relevant industry
  • Person/Client centred approach
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills
  • WWCC – or willingness to obtain
