This Expression of Interest collects a variety of information that will help the Townsville Hospital and Health Service identify potentially suitable applicants for future Dental Assistant employment opportunities.

The Townsville Oral Health Service is seeking Dental Assistants with varied experience to fill future vacancies. Roles to be filled through this recruitment process may be of a full-time, part-time or casual nature.   • Minimum mandatory requirement is a Certificate III in Dental Assisting.
  • Current QLD Blue Card (working with children check)
  • C class drivers licence.

Your Opportunity
To provide general chair-side support to Dental Officers and Oral Health Therapists, to ensure that dental treatment provided is of the highest standard. Perform other support duties such as maintenance of instruments and equipment, ordering of clinical consumables and stock control, to ensure that dental treatment is provided effectively and efficiently. Assist in the provision of general practitioner services within the delivery system for oral health care to eligible clients throughout the Hospital and Health Service.
