With clinical support from the Senior Dietitian, the Dietitian is responsible to the Team Leader for contributing to the delivery of a comprehensive and integrated range of health services, appropriate to the needs of the local community. To achieve this, the Dietitian works as a member of a multi-disciplinary team, including health professionals and service providers from other sectors, and utilizes a combination of preventative, early intervention, treatment and evaluation approaches.
You must hold a recognised qualification within Dietetics profession, and be eligible for full membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA). As a self-regulated profession, it is desirable to participate in the DAA Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) program.
This is a part time vacancy, working 67.5 hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.
Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Screening/Check and specific immunisation requirements.
