    The Opportunity

    This is an exciting opportunity for a Digital UX Analyst to join the Information and Technology team in Sydney – Eastern Creek. Reporting to the IT Domain Manager (Technology) you will lead and facilitate innovative methods of delivery in the pursuit of improved user experiences and business outcomes through technology at TransGrid. This role requires taking a holistic approach towards managing the evolution of the culture, reputation and strategy of TransGrid IT. You will align key activities with the strategic vision of excellent user experience and provide guideance and governance in driving this outcome throughout the TransGrid technology landscape.

    As the Digital UX Analyst you will:

  • Lead and create end-to-end user experience journeys for TransGrid employees and internal customers to ensure the best achievable outcomes from their use of technology.
  • Be responsible for leading hands-on project work, creating and ensuring consistency and cohesiveness across the end-to-end Digital Customer Journey in the newly created IT Operating Model.
  • Be responsible for all activities across all phases of the Design Thinking and Human Centred Design process – inspiration, ideation, and implementation. be part of and work closely with the wider IT team, Business stakeholders, as well as Product and Technology Delivery teams (internal and external), to shape digital initiatives leading up and entering the agile delivery.
  • Influence and facilitate delivery of business needs and technology modernisation.
  • Develop both compelling empathy based arguments and journey maps that inspire the build an implementation of rich interactive experiences for employees with technology
  • Skills & Experience

    What we expect from you:

  • Tertiary qualifications in IT, Business or equivalent professional experience
  • Relevant Design Thinking and/or Human Centered Design qualifications
  • 2-5 years of Corporate expertise
  • Significant experience as a facilitator of Design Thinking and Human Centered Design 
  • Agile and out of the box thinking
  • Passion for user centric solutions
  • Creativity and problem solving
  • Good communications and change management skills
  • Knowledge of non-functional aspects of IT Architecture (Performance, Resilience, Availability, Security etc.)
  • Strong problem solving ability, analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people
  • Highly competent in working autonomously
  • Highly capable in leading a chapter based design community in a domain aligned operating model
  • Thrives in being creative and using constraints as an enabler for innovative outcomes
