  • Salary: $27.41 – $27.72 per hour + 25% casual loading – Casual (up to 12 months) – WHA4
  • Joining the team at Elmhaven Hostel you will assist in the care and supervision of aged care residents of the Residential Care Home in Streaky Bay. Providing input into resident assessment and recording general observations, you will help to identify diversional therapy needs of individuals and/or groups and complete routine documentation in accordance with established policies and procedures. Enjoying a team approach to holistic, client-centred care, this is a great opportunity to learn on the job and make a difference to the wellbeing of aged care residents.

    Demonstrating the ability to perform under limited direction, you will work well within a team environment and be able to communicate effectively and relate to people from a diverse range of cultures, backgrounds and circumstances. Along with a commitment to maintaining resident confidentiality, you will display empathy towards the elderly and be willing to develop a positive rapport with residents and their families.

    To be eligible to apply you will have completed AQF Certificate III relevant to the position.

    Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Screening/Check and specific immunisation requirements.
