Director of Sales – APAC
THE OPPORTUNITY – 7SIGNAL – The Leader in Wireless Network Monitoring
As a key member of a dynamic, game-changing software company, the Director of Sales, APAC will:
+ Be responsible for the overall sales strategies and results for the Australian and Asian Markets
+ Plan and direct all sales activities to sell products/services to new customers to close large enterprise deals and achieve/exceed quota.
+ Establish and maintain customer satisfaction in area accounts working collaboratively with systems engineering, customer support and channel partners
+ Present and communicate complex technical concepts effectively, matching customer requirements with company solutions.
+ Prospect new customers and develop effective proposals for presentation to customer.
+ Have applied knowledge of the company solution, the IT industry, competing technologies, emerging technology trends and local geography business environment.
+ Coordinate sales and corporate resources effectively to develop new business opportunities and expand existing customer deployments.
+ Using salesforce.com, maintain an extremely accurate 90 day forecast, manage pipeline development and document the sales progress for each opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have these characteristics and experiences:
Seasoned industry professional with strong experience in selling networking infrastructure and performance monitoring solutions.
Has a consistent record of over achievement of sales quotas.
Possesses a network of contacts and recent sales successes in large enterprise accounts in the APAC Region.
Possesses excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
Can sell to economic buyers as well as technical buyers, and understands how to communicate ROI, payback period, and risk avoidance concepts.
Agility to learn and understand complex technologies quickly, and apply knowledge directly to customer interactions.
Customer focused, attuned to customer needs.
Places a premium on meeting customer expectations and maintaining customer satisfaction.
Has strong prospecting skills and motivation to create opportunities
Is a strong team player, has extremely high integrity, has a very high energy level, is able to multitask effectively, and can adapt to overcome barriers to selling.
7 – 10 years enterprise sales experience
