About the Role:

Programmed Health Professionals are a leading provider of health care staff in Australia. We are currently seeking a Disability Support Worker to work with one of our home care clients on an on-going basis. We need someone who is extremely reliable and punctual, who has strong work ethics and is pro-active.

Our client is a male adult living with a disability, based in Ipswich, who requires support every Friday. This is a companion based role where community access is required, as well as some domestic assistance. Shifts are ongoing and will commence ASAP. The Drivers license, reliable vehicle and insurance is a must.

What you need to have:

  • Cert III or IV in Disability, Community, Aged Care Support or Individual Support
  • Minimum 6 months of recent disability experience
  • Experience working with or volunteering with adolescents is preferred
  • Valid First Aid Certificate
  • Current Employee Blue Card and Yellow Care
  • Current flu vaccination certificate
  • National Police Check (We can arrange one for you if required)
