Healthcare Australia and Aruma have partnered up for a number of amazing opportunities for those in the Disability and Community Care Industry who are passionate and dedicated workers!
Healthcare Australia is Australia’s largest specialist recruitment and staffing provider in the health and community services industry. We look for people who share our core values of integrity, excellence, collaboration, sustainability and innovation. Aruma is a new name in disability services, but they’re definitely not the new kids on the block. You might remember them as House with No Steps and The Tipping Foundation, two great organisations, with over 100 years of combined experience, who came together in 2018.
Position: Disability Development and Support Worker (DDSO1Q)
Work Type: Permanent – Part time
Location: Traralgon, VIC
Aruma needs YOU (yes, you!)
At Aruma, we support people with disabilities to live great lives. It is the reason we exist – after all, why should anyone have to settle for anything less? To make this a reality, we rely on the skill and commitment of our Aruma team.
We are looking for like-minded people who have the same values. There is no specific ‘mould’, we need a team that is as diverse as our customers.
There are, however, a few boxes you will need to tick:
Successful applicants will be initially employed by the Department of Health and Human Services and managed by Aruma until employment transitions to Aruma as part of the Victorian transfer of Government Disability Services to the NDIS. Employment, salary, and benefits will be in accordance with Disability Services Enterprise Agreement Victoria 2018 – 2022, classification Level DDSO1 & 1Q.
