The Far Northern Region is spread across a wide geographical area which requires staff to possess a high level of autonomy, professionalism, flexibility and frequent travel to various destinations. Far Northern Region has four AO7 District Manager position located in Innisfail, Mareeba, Thursday Island and Weipa.

This pool is open for candidates interested in temporary short term employment opportunities as a AO7 District Manager and meet the mandatory employment requirements as detailed in the attached role description. Appointments progressed as a result of this applicant pool (and extension to this appointment) will not extend beyond 12 months.

It is recommended that prospective applicants for this advertisement discuss with their current supervisor support for the application, capacity to release and that the classification level/s nominated are appropriate.
