About the Position The Strategic Enterprise Account Executive creates, identifies and closes opportunities for Salesforce Marketing Cloud. You will drive deals from first call to close, and must be a driven individual who can generate a large amount of pipeline for the business within a short period of time, effectively managing complex deals throughout the entire sales process to order form signature. You will be focused on our strategic enterprise accounts, partnering with other Salesforce Account Executives to drive new sales and success across all of your accounts. Responsibilities Create and drive revenue within a specified territory Increasing revenue spend within companies of 2,000 employees or more Generate business opportunities through prospecting and cold-calling as well as up-selling into existing accounts Drive brand awareness, campaigns and lead generation in assigned territory Meet and exceed growth expectations of your territory Create and develop a strategic business plan Operational excellence across forecasting and account planning Requirements A proven track record of net new sales 8+ years of complex software solutions, involving multiple stakeholders across various departments, with a focus on selling to c-suite marketers Experience managing 5-10 accounts, 80% existing customers Consistent achievement of year over year quota attainment of at least $1M USD in growth revenue Exceptional business acumen, organisation, tenacity and communication skills – both verbal and written Proven track record of strategic account planning Track record of sales excellence (ability to articulate sales process) is a must and formal sales training is a plus Knowledge of the Marketing Cloud platform, products, and services are a plus Salesforce.com is the global leader in customer relationship management (CRM) software.
