The Ethics Compliance Officer works closely with the global enterprise to embed business integrity, ethical business practices and social responsibility in GHD’s corporate culture and assist our senior management in preventing misconduct and creating a culture of compliance. You will also be responsible for integrity compliance and data protection.

In this role, you will work with key stakeholders and senior leadership across GHD’s global operations. Location is flexible, and we are open to people based in any of our GHD capital city offices across Australia.

Working with the Executive General Manger – Risk and as part of our legal team, this position offers a good variety of work that will see you involved in:

  • Manage and oversee the review, investigation, implementation of actions and lessons learned for all integrity incidents raised across the global enterprise
  • Setting integrity and ethics goals and performance measures
  • Identifying and implementing initiatives to support and improve the Integrity program
  • Reporting to the Audit Committee of the Board on progress and any compliance breaches and risks
  • Periodic review and benchmark GHD’s suite of ethical compliance documents
  • Co-ordinate training at different levels; financial, legal, executives, high risk countries
  • Manage integrity awareness campaigns
  • Audit compliance with IMS including possible site visits to high risk countries
  • Represent GHD in ethics forums
  • Coordinate cross-jurisdictional compliance with regional legal teams
  • What you will bring to the team

  • Management experience with ability to work at an executive level
  • Leading, managing and overseeing integrity investigations
  • Knowledge of business, integrity and ethical conduct requirements
  • Strong personal character and a commitment to integrity
  • Highly developed communications skills, both oral and written
  • Understanding of Consulting industry
  • Law, business or related degree qualifications
