To support our rapid growth, we are seeking to engage dynamic and experienced property and facilities management professionals to join our market leading team across Australia.

About the role:

As the Facilities Manager, you will be involved in delivering facilities management services to a large Commonwealth Government Portfolio with multiple tenancies. The role includes developing strong relationships, undertaking annual inspections, managing reactive and planned maintenance, resolving escalated matters and preparing data to contribute to contractual reporting obligations.

Key responsibilities:

  • Effectively manage the sites to ensure building owner and tenant business requirements are met and prioritised appropriately
  • Take immediate action to identify and resolve compliance issues and report any unresolved compliance matters
  • Manage escalated issues to resolution
  • Effective Contractor management
  • Review and establish maintenance plans
  • Implement new services to sites as required
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders, including tenants, contractors and project managers
  • Always ensure prompt and effective communication

Key Experience / Skill Set:

  • Minimum 5 years’ proven experience in a similar role within Facilities Management environment
  • Experience working within the Commonwealth is an advantage
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple / complex sites simultaneously
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with all stakeholders
  • Proficient in desktop applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Be a team player who is motivated and self-driven
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and adaptively in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders

This is a full-time permanent position, based at our Head Office in North Sydney.
