About the opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager who is looking for a change in environment or want to further their career. This is a great opportunity to work for one of Australia’s market leaders within aged care.

You will oversee staff working within the facility to ensure each resident receives the best possible care. Further, overseeing the clinical governance of the facility, reviewing procedures, ensuring compliance, and providing support & guidance to the wider team.

Duties

  • Ensure care is in line with values of the resident and organisation
  • Coordinate the delegation of care and ensure it is within carer’s scope of practice
  • Ensure care being provided meets the aged care standards
  • Facilitate and support financial requirements of facility
  • Supervise and lead the multidisciplinary team
  • Daily management & oversight of clinical governance
  • Problem-solving abilities applicable to all areas of care services
  • Provide clinical support within complex nursing care situations
  • Ensure resident lifestyle & care needs are met
  • Ensure quality & accreditation guidelines are met
  • Skills and Experience

  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience in leading a team
  • Strong knowledge of ACFI and Accreditation standards
  • Strong business acumen
  • Demonstrated knowledge and commitment to quality systems in Aged Care desirable
