This position is full time and requires a Facility Manager to provide leadership to a 100 bed home whilst applying sound business management principles including resource management, leadership, continuous improvement, and financial management.
You will work closely with the Senior Management team to ensure that the strategic direction of the organisation – operating plans, systems and procedures are communicated to staff ensuring that care is provided for residents with best practice health services.
Strong planning, time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise accordingly.
Registered Nurse (Div 1)
Ensure communication style is open and effective in all circumstances.
Highly developed leadership skills and the ability to act as a positive role model for staff
Manage the recruitment, development and retention of staff
A strong commitment to excellence and quality in the provision of aged care related services with a sound working knowledge of continuous improvement, quality principles and accreditation.
High level interpersonal, written, presentation and negotiation skills including ability to liaise and negotiate with clinical staff, facility managers, allied health professionals and Government representatives.
Well-developed communication, problem solving and conflict resolution skills
