This ASX listed organisation are going through a period of consistent growth and are looking to undergo a major Finance Transformation project.
This role will be responsible for leading the planning, development, prioritisation and implementation of a core Finance initiative, engaging a wide range of stakeholders to drive long term improvements. The initial scope for the project will be around 12 months, although there may be scope for extension or further opportunities within the function.
In this role, the successful candidate will play a key part in reengineering key financial processes and establishing a new best practice for the business going forward within one of their key accounting functions.
Key responsibilities include:
Own the development of various Finance process and system opportunities and ensure effective communication of outcomes
Initiate root cause analysis on various Finance process and service issues in partnership with relevant process owners, teams and stakeholders as well as present analysis recommendations to the management team.
Collate stakeholder feedback from process reviews and proactively manage process risk and issues feedback from key process owners and stakeholders.
Prepare standard initiative reports for the Finance Transformation team and monitor performance and delivery of ongoing initiatives
Instil a culture of continuous improvement across all levels of the business
Work collaboratively with a wide range of business stakeholders.
Qualifications and experience:
Knowledge and understanding of large scale Transformation Programs and Continuous Improvement methodologies with a minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in a similar role.
University degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting required.
Chartered Accounting experience would be preferred but is non-essential
A proven track record in developing and implementing Finance improvement initiatives across various processes and systems.
