This organisation is a successful, well established commercial property management and development group. A recent restructure and acquisition has necessitated an expansion of their team at their Head Office in the CBD of Melbourne. Consequently, they are looking to appoint a hands-on Financial Controller with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will provide support in all accounting, administration and office management matters including financial management and accounting for a number of entities, presentation of monthly results at the Board meeting, engagement and liaison with key service providers including external accountants, payroll, budgeting and forecasting and BAS lodgements. Other responsibilities will include supervision of accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, GST and income tax preparation.

The successful candidate will be CA or CPA qualified, ideally with exposure to MYOB accounting software and excellent computing skills including Microsoft Office. You have a strong background and relevant experience in the property industry.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle negotiations are complemented by your team focus and willingness to learn and develop new skills. Your accuracy and attention to detail are not sacrificed when working under pressure to meet deadlines.
