Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review and Assist country demand planners on weekly cycles and action/guide alignment towards key KPI’s around forecasting and sales attainment.
  • Assist as a back up (if planners are absent from work) in the upload, creation, and maintenance of planning and forecasting data on the planning system.
  • Ensure NPI demand are updated on time. Consolidate the region’s NPI plan as a congregated whole with detail breakdown of each allocation.
  • Devise plans and develop, maintain and improve upon best in class performance in forecasting, sales planning & inventory levels – compare best practice across the region, also learn from other regions.
  • Monitor market trends / category trends and competitor trends to determine sales forecasts and take necessary actions with demand planners — in a timely manner to ensure trends are reflected in the forecasts on time. In case of out of cycle changes, to follow up with global network planners to ensure supportability.
  • Analyze sales trends against forecasts given by sales teams and raise red flags to sales channel leads for abnormal trends / forecasts and work on mitigation plans.
  • Influence managers using statistical data and critical thinking to align their forecasts with the trends and have ability to challenge channel managers with analysis and business intelligence.
  • Influence in a highly matrixed environment and have significant interaction with functional teams such as Sales, Product Management, MGSC, Finance, Marketing and Operations.
  • Build and maintain communication channels among all operational groups within the supply chain and sales through information sharing, thought leadership, and tactical and strategic planning
  • Deliver analysis and data on sales forecasting performance compared with global standards
  • This position covers total APAC coverage direct and reseller market, in collaboration with demand planners and network planners.
  • Be the go-to person for point of escalation from different country channel sales leads in the event of issues and need to work out solution alignment as well as collaborate on global or regional initiatives and processes.
  • Be on point to address KPI challenges with the various demand planners of the team.
