The opportunity

We are looking for a Funds Lawyer withfour to eight years of relevant experience, to join our rapidly growingFinancial Services Law team in our Sydney office.

Your key responsibilities

  • Provide financial services law and regulatory advice inmultidisciplinary teams for local and offshore fund managers and otherparticipants in the wealth and asset management sector
  • Assist with fund establishment and structuring, product disclosure and distribution including advise on regulatory and licensing compliance
  • Draft fund and corporate documents
  • Mentor and supervise junior staff
  • Skills and attributes for success

  • Four to eight years post qualification experience
  • Financial services and corporate law experience with a passion for the financial services sector
  • Excellent client facing skills and strong commercial acumen
  • Demonstrate strong technical and drafting skills
  • Experience in working as part of a team, with the ability to build effective internal and external relationships
  • Excellent communication skills and keen attention to detail
  • Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Natural relationship building and inter-personal skills
  • A positive approach and a can-do attitude
