Sonic HealthPlus is on thelookout for an energetic and passionate Medical Practitioner to join our busy MackayClinic on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will enjoy an enviablework/life balance in our fully equipped and established clinic.

Our new medical practitioner willbe provided:

This role will provide exposureto all aspects of general practice & occupational health medicineincluding:

-Occupational Health Employment medical assessments

-SpecialisedMedical assessments

-Acute injury treatment and management

-Liaisonwith company representatives and site medical assessments



-Women’s health



-Chronicdisease management and minor surgery

To be successful in this role you will need:

-Fellowship of the Royal Australian College for GeneralPractitioners (FRACGP) desirable

-Full Registration with AHPRA

-Postgraduatetraining and experience in general practice

-Experiencein Occupational Medicine and work injury management is advantageous however,the

– RegionalMedical advisor is located at the clinic and is available to mentor and developyour skills in occupational medicine

-Eligibility to access Medicare

-Qualification in Skin Cancer Medicine preferable

-Registration with the DNRME as a Qld EMO/AMA preferable

-Provenevidence of continuous professional development & medical education

-Strong interpersonal communication skills

-Acaring and quality driven commitment to providing general practitioner healthservices

-Competencywith computerised patient management systems
