As the leader of a new Performance Marketing team, you will be responsible for planning and delivering all digital media investments, as well as the development of digital media strategies for the Consumer Marketing Activity.
**What’s the role?**
+ Oversee the digital media team to engage and convert off-platform digital audiences through SEM, Social, Programmatic and other related Digital Channels activities driving to the site and retargeting through to conversion
+ Provide direction and guidance to the digital performance team in executing cross-channel programs that serve the business objectives
+ Develop the Marketing Technology Roadmap
+ Oversee the team that executes strategic digital media recommendations for Always-on and campaign-based activity, always applying the lense of how all of the digital paid media investment works together as one.
+ Seek and recommend new digital media opportunities to accelerate the performance of overall digital paid media
+ Cross Collaboration across various departments within Newscorp to achieve set outcomes.
+ Oversee the Optimisation of all digital media investment to drive business outcomes
+ Ensure all digital media investments are delivered on time and to budget
+ Contribute to the relationship between consumer and digital media buying across programmatic, SEM and Social while also providing weekly status updates to the team on deliverables and performance
**Who are you?**
+ Around 8- 10 years of experience in various subject areas of performance marketing – SEM, programmatic, video, social marketing and marketing technology.
+ Leadership capability to build and lead a team of digital professionals for cross-platform and multi-channel marketing.
+ Advanced Knowledge of Marketing Technology and Integrations within internal system
+ Have experience with reporting & data visualization tools (preferred)
+ Experience across ad-server platforms and technologies
+ Proven understanding of digital marketing principles and experience in omnichannel campaign delivery
+ Deep understanding of the digital media landscape, at the forefront of digital marketing and changing customer behaviour, well versed in industry best practice.
+ An innovative thinker with a test and learn mindset, experience in agile optimisation preferred
+ Comfortable using data-driven approaches to develop targeting, measure, interpret results and optimize
+ Strong communication skills and attention to detail with the ability to influence senior stakeholders within the business
+ Ability to confidently present the programme to senior stakeholders
+ Deep understanding of media and creative agencies inner workings
+ Ability to deliver multiple solutions within a complex and busy environment.
