This newly created role will be a dedicated resource responsible for ensuring a best in market customer experience across all fulfilment channels, delivering outstanding (well above benchmark) customer outcomes and driving performance and operational efficiency across the team.
The Head of Performance will lead all platform fulfillment teams across; SEM, Programmatic, Social. Teams are charged with configuring media schedules, flighting campaigns, performance monitoring and optimising customer’s campaigns for continuous performance improvement, and inputting into customers strategies with Sales and Customer success team members.
Running a team of 15-20 performance specialists, your core role will be to inspire and encourage world class results in the performance marketing space for our thousands of customers.
**What’s the role?**
+ Strategic Planning & Development – Develop an overall user support plan
+ Continuous Improvement – Identify opportunities for developing sustainable competitive advantage through the adoption of new advertising technology, applying automation and machine learning where possible
+ Organisational Capability Building – Identify the capabilities needed to meet the current and emerging business needs
+ Product Improvements – Seek out new processes, technologies, and trends that can help unlock and elevate the value of our performance products
+ Retention – Inform and input into the retention strategy and ongoing retention projects
+ Accountability – Develop weekly and monthly reports for areas of responsibility, sharing results with key stakeholders across the business
**Who you are?**
+ A performance marketing channel expert with a proven record of driving business growth and return on investment. You should live and breathe digital marketing performance and conversion metrics: CPC, ROAS, ROI, CPA, CTR etc
+ Tertiary or relevant studies undertaken within Marketing or related discipline, combined with at least seven years’ experience working in a performance role in a digital agency, an ecommerce business
+ Demonstrated people and business leadership skills and experience managing a team (or teams) of people in your current or past roles
+ Strong analytical ability and experience using Google Analytics or other analytic programs to draw insights and recommendations efficiently
+ A data-driven approach to decision making and problem solving
+ Superior verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate with people of all levels of seniority and business sectors
+ Process Optimisation. Know the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement. Integrate systems to improve quality and service.
+ Sales Acumen. Ability to liaise and work with sales teams and peers to deliver best customer and business outcomes
