We’re looking for a candidate to this position in an exciting company.
Ensure that all strategic sourcing activities demonstrably support the organisational strategic objectives
Ensuring sourcing and procurement outcomes represent the best value for money option available under market conditions
Lead and negotiate agreements for IT hardware, software and services, including variations;
Managing a complex procurement function across multiple categories
Implement key procurement practices to improve the efficiencies of the entire busines
Develop strong relationships with stakeholders to partner with them in commercial decision making
Lead BOQ in 3rd party negotiations
Drive proactive supply chain / supplier management to ensure achievement of key metrics and accountabilities
Build and maintain relationships with the Bank’s IT vendors as well as managing relationships with the Bank’s most senior internal stakeholders, and partner with them in commercial decision making.
As a consummate professional, with previous Procurement experience ideally in a Finance, IT and/or Banking environment, critical to the role will be your ability to consider the broader strategic business impacts of all sourcing activities, in terms of producing the best sourcing outcomes.
Ideally you will have experience in Business and/or IT Partnering and the management of large service delivery style engagements.
You will demonstrate being able to produce complex reports relevant for the target audiences (including Board and EXCO level, and various senior internal stakeholders), and strong analytical and numerical skills, managing budgets and monitoring KPI’s constantly.
Naturally you will be a strong communicator and negotiator, and have the innate ability to build strong internal and external working relationships. A flexible approach to work, and the ability to adapt to the ever changing and evolving project requirements will see you succeed in the position.
