Our People Advisory Services – HR Mergers & Acquisitions practice supports clients in Australia and across the world through mergers, acquisitions, restructuring and divestments. With increasing client demand, we are looking to build our team with professionals who have experience in any aspects of due diligence in a deal.
As part of our team, you’ll collaborate with our EY Strategy and Transactions teams, work with a broad range of clients and have access to a HR worldwide transactions team to solve HR and business / commercial issues. You will have the opportunity to demonstrate your analytical and commercial skills in our due diligence and deal negotiation assignments to provide workforce insights to key decision-makers that help maximise deal value and identify critical risks.
**In your role as in the HR Transactions team, you will:**
+ Analyse data to identify key issues or benefits
+ Prepare and deliver workforce due diligence reports which quantify risks and liabilities
+ Comment on integration challenges identified during diligence as well as provide technical guidance on employment related costs and opportunities
+ Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams including the EY Strategy and Transactions teams to deliver integrated diligence support to clients
**Skills and attributes for success**
This role is for you if you have the some or all of the following:
+ Extensive M&A experience (at least 3 years for Senior Consultant or between 5 to 7 years for Manager)
+ Have undertaken strategic reviews or due diligence in M&A projects
+ Strong quantitative skills supported by good Excel and/or data analytics capabilities
+ Ability to remain focused and productive in a fast paced environment
+ Highly effective written and verbal communication skills and a dedication to teamwork
+ A bachelor’s degree in accounting, law, business/commerce, finance
**Ideally you’ll also have**
+ Good interpersonal and communication skills
+ Ability to manage and coach high performing individuals
+ Consulting experience
