  • About the role

    Due to the growth within the group we are currently seeking experienced Health, Safety and Environment Coordinators to join our West African and North American operations.

    Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the co-ordination and day to day management of the Environmental, Health, Safety & Training functions. You will provide advice and technical support to both contractors and staff, including expats and our workforce of National employees. These roles will work on a 10:6 roster, FIFO from any mayor capital city in the world.

    Key Requirements;

  • A minimum of five years’ experience in underground mining
  • Tertiary qualifications in OHS
  • Certificate IV Assessment & Training and the ability to deliver training through multiple media. Trainers will be required to deliver both theory and practical training
  • Ability to conduct quality risk assessments, investigations and report writing
  • Extensive background in the Underground Mining industry, with a working knowledge of multiple disciplines and experience in Mines Rescue is preferable
  • Ability to engage, communicate and influence managers and employees including Non English-speaking nationals
  • Exceptional organisational and communication skills
