ROLEPURPOSE

Responsible for dailyshift operations and supervision of talent in IRD. Position directs, trains andassists talent to follow standards in the delivery of food and beverage toguestrooms and suites. Position assistsin ensuring guest and talent satisfaction while maintaining the operatingbudget. Strengthens the beverage andfood/culinary team by assisting in other venues when needed.

CAST KEYRESPONSIBILITIES

Conducting Day-to-Day In Room Dining Operations

  • Ensurescompliance with all IRD polices, standards and procedures.
  • Supervisesdaily shift operations.
  • Helpsto manage the delivery of amenity packages and VIP gifts.
  • Ensuresall talent have proper supplies, equipment and uniforms.
  • Supporting Management and Coaching of In-RoomDining Team

  • Providesdirection to IRD talent to sell and service in-room dining.
  • Supervisestalent levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs and financialobjectives are met.
  • Setsa positive example for guest relations.
  • Communicatesperformance expectations in accordance with job descriptions for each position.
  • Providesfeedback to individuals based on observation of service behaviours.
  • Handlestalent questions and concerns.
  • Participatesin the talent performance appraisal process, giving feedback as needed.
  • Assisting In Room Dining Financial andBudgeting Goals

  • Understandsthe impact of department’s operation on the overall property financial goals.
  • Participatesin department meetings and continually communicates a clear and consistentmessage regarding the departmental goals to produce desired results.
  • Utilizesbudgets, operating statements and payroll progress reports as needed to assistin the financial management of department.
  • Managesto achieve or exceed budgeted goals.
  • Empowerstalent to provide excellent customer service within guidelines.
  • Interactswith guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels.
  • Handlesguest problems and complaints seeking assistance from a supervisor asnecessary.
