The Opportunity


Our client is a market-leading national supplier of third party logistics services.  On their behalf we are seeking an experienced hands-on Team Leader to assume responsibility for the Inbound area of the company’s multi-client operation in Sydney’s west.


The Role

Reporting to the Warehouse Operations Manager, the Inbound Team Leader is the go-to person for this part of the business.  Thus you will bear both the responsibility and the satisfaction that this entails.  Our ideal candidate has:-

  • Appropriate experience in a similar role in a relevant sized business
  • A practical, hands-on management style
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both up and down
  • Experience managing teams of 5-6 people including scheduling additional resources when necessary
  • Experience in planning around and meeting KPIs
  • Experience in the use of warehouse systems and technology
  • Proven leadership skills in managing, mentoring and motivating staff
  • A commitment to – and the ability to drive – continuous improvement
  • An uncompromising commitment to workplace health and safety
