As an Integration/Systems Engineer, your role will support of the New Zealand Mobile Tactical Command System (MTCS) Program. You will support the NZ Project Engineering Manager in:
Planning technical activities and providing oversight / support of the technical team
Design of the tactical radio network, including systems architecture, trade studies, system design, network design, system interfaces and performance analysis
Product expertise and support for the L3Harris radio products supplied to the Mission System
Integration of L3Harris hardware into customer platforms
Laboratory and field-based integration, test and acceptance activities
Generating project technical documentation and test reports
Coordination of specialty integration engineering tasks, including, systems security and systems safety
Identifying project risks and recommended solutions through the HCA risk management process
The position will require travel to New Zealand and limited potential travel to the United States.
The position will require some work outside of normal business hours to maintain regular contact with portions of the development team in the United States and New Zealand.
Technical solution for the MTCS tactical radio network within the cost and schedule constraints of the project
Harris MTCS Systems Engineering Management Plan (SEMP)
Technical mastery of the Harris radio products supplied to the MTCS system
V&V testing and System Acceptance of the MTCS system
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in Integration/Systems/RF Comms Engineering
Current NV1 Australian Security Clearance or ability to attain
