Position DescriptionReporting to the Accounts Administrator the Internal Sales Assistant will be responsible for supporting the external sales team throughout the Asia Pacific region by providing world class customer service and building rapport with customers over the phone. This position must provide up-to-date sales reporting and metrics to team members in the field to better assist them in servicing our customers. The candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment that is goal oriented and emphasizes accountability for delivering results. The Internal Sales Assistant will perform calm under pressure while meeting customers’ needs, have an eye for details and excellent follow up. Specific ResponsibilitiesResponsible for being the front-line point of contact for all Chinese customers and freight forwarding intermediariesProcess local and International ordersProcess advance replacement ordersProvide ETAs, shipping status and tracking information and resolve any issuesProcess all incoming payments and reconciliationsPerform customer account reconciliationActively follow up telephone leads as required, qualifying requirements and ensuring that they are processed through correct sales channelsAbility to accurately input customer data; such as creating new customer cards and validating onboarding requirementsCommunicate and collaborate with internal departmentsFacilitate signing and storage of customer agreements Required QualificationsFluent in EnglishChinese literate, must be able to read and write MandarinExperience working within ERP systems, i.e. SAPPreferred QualificationsPrevious internal sales experience with International customers in an electronics or consumer goods environment SnapAV is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
