Perform interventional neuroradiology (INR) procedures and commit to full time participation in the existing INR Service at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital (RBWH).

Two of our five hospitals – Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital (RBWH) and The Prince Charles Hospital (TPCH) – are tertiary/quaternary referral hospitals, providing state-wide super specialty services, such as heart and lung transplantation and burns treatment. Redcliffe and Caboolture are major secondary hospitals, and Kilcoy is a regional community hospital.

About the Role

Contribute to the INR service, requiring but not limited to participation in:

  • Clinical consultation and follow up for in-patients and outpatients

  • Performance of interventional neuroradiology procedures independently, supervised or proctored as required

  • The 24/7 on-call after hours service

  • Supervision and training of at least one INR fellow and rotating radiology registrars

  • Medical Imaging departmental activities outside of INR as negotiated/agreed
