Your responsibilities will include
The F-35 Joint Strike Fighter provides RAAF an advanced capability and the aircraft is supported by complex, unique ICT infrastructure and mission systems. This role is responsible for managing and coordinating multiple IT Service Management (ITSM) based processes in a dynamic and multi-faceted ALIS IMAS, military and civilian environment, primarily focussing on the execution of design, transition and operational processes.
Some of the key activities you will undertake are:
Implement, operate and execute a range of ITSM processes interacting with other technical streams, customers and stakeholders
Produce and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures, work instructions and other documentation as required
Provide subject matter expert (SME) advice in ITIL and other relevant methodologies, perform analysis and establish frameworks, workflows, charts and diagrams defining systems capabilities and processes
Collaborate with system administrators, system engineers, developers, end users and organisations to ensure process compliance and utility
Engage with and provide advice and guidance to a range of stakeholders across the Company and the F35A IMAS and Defence organisation
Deliver against requirements such as Statement of Work (SOW) / Service Level Agreement (SLA) and projects
You will have skills and experience in:
Tertiary qualifications (degree) in a related discipline (IT, Computer Science, ITIL qualification, Systems Engineering, etc.) and/or equivalent relevant experience / combined education
ITIL V3 Foundation
Experience working within an ITIL/ITSM environment
Skills and experience in the use of MS Office and other relevant software packages and applications, including MS Visio
Good verbal and written communication skills, good analytical and problem-solving skills with proven ability to resolve complex issues and strong initiative and self-motivation
Experience working within an engineering or project environment (preferably in the Defence Industry) is highly desirable
