The Role:


The successful applicant in this role will be responsible for providing assistance and support to Job seekers / Participants which assists them to get a job, and keep it.  This involves ensuring that all contacts with Job seekers / Participants are job focused and that attention is focused on what they can do, not what they can’t do. No previous experience in employment services is necessary as full training can be provided.


This will be a full time position.


The position will be based at our Warwick Office which is located at 45 Guy St, Warwick.



Responsibilities will include

  • Develop a quality, proactive and individually tailored approach for assisting each Job seeker
  • Use your great computer skills to ensure each Job seeker has a high quality, up to date, resume
  • Ensure that regular contact is maintained with each Job seeker to discuss their job search progress and offer any support that may help them
  • Keep up to date with current vacancies listed with BEST that may suit our job seekers and take proactive steps to ensure they are connected to suitable opportunities
  • Maintain an up to date knowledge of local support services such as counselling, literacy support, housing etc. and make referrals to these services when required
  • Constantly motivate and encourage job seekers to remain proactive in finding their own employment
  • Ensure that a high level of contractual compliance is maintained at all times
  • Job Coaches may undertake specialist roles such as Disability Employment Services, Work for the Dole (WfD), Youth, Indigenous or Mature age.
