About our Team
The Directorate of Information and Systems (DIAS) within the Program Management & Governance (PM&G) branch of Service Delivery Dision (SDD) is responsible for the development and implementation of structures, policies, procedures and controls to manage and improve the quality of the Defence Estate information that is collected by the Division and Contractors. DIAS is at the forefront of shaping the way Defence’s Estate information is managed and distributed. DIAS also provides the lead in the development and implementation of the Division’s Communications strategy, Records Management and the delivery and management of SDD Intranet and Internet presence.
Our Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a motivated and experienced individual to be considered for the role of Knowledge Management specialist. You have highly developed written, verbal and persuasive communication skills which you can use to confidently and effectively influence others including via telephone and video conferencing platforms. You are able to develop strong and productive working relationships with business areas and stakeholders to provide advice and assistance on information management issues, identify solutions and opportunities. Lastly, you have experience in managing small projects including the use of internet technologies and the transitioning of projects to business as usual. Knowledge in the use of SharePoint and GovCMS would be an advantage, but is not mandatory.
