Reporting to the Operations supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for the collection and transportation of liquid waste and sludges from a customer’s premises and deliver to an authorised licensed waste disposal depot in a safe and responsible manner, in accordance withservice agreements.Key Responsibilities:Operate and maintain the liquid tank vehicle / Rigid Tautliner in a safe mannerAs directed organise for the collection and disposal of liquid waste , sludges or pallets in accordance with safe operating procedures and contract requirementsComplete paperwork legibly, including Driver Vehicle Log, Daily Run Sheets and other reports as required in accordance with Veolia guidelinesRecord any vehicle defects that may affect the safe operation of the vehicle or hydraulic equipment immediatelyEnsure vehicle is checked before and after every shift and washed/cleaned when necessary in accordance with Drivers Daily Report requirementsMaintain effective working relationships with other members of the team and external parties as appropriatePromote and continuously apply personal safety environmental and quality awareness in the workplaceIn the face of this century’s biggest challenges, Veolia Australia & New Zealand (Veolia) offers opportunities to make a difference for your career, and for the environment and our community.
