The way we teach and learn is rapidly changing in response to COVID-19 and 3P are leading the way in the booming ed-tech sector in supporting teachers and parents to thrive in these evolving and challenging times.

We are currently on the lookout for an experienced primary school teacher to join our Literacy Product “pod” in the role of Regional Literacy Educator . This role supports the development of Literacy product content, product design and ongoing product evolution for the APAC region. This person can be located in Sydney where our office is, or remotely from any location in Australia or New Zealand.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Compiling regional educational insights to inform product decisions designed to drive growth
  • conduct educational based research and analysis on competitor products and educational trends within the region
  • compile content requirements in alignment with curricula and write detailed educational content briefs
  • ongoing support for Sales and Marketing teams, actively contributing to the creation of product marketing collateral
  • To be successful in this role ideally you will have:

  • Significant (5 years +) classroom teaching experience with a focus/specialisation in Literacy
  • experience writing Literacy content for educational publishers and/or education authorities
  • substantial experience of Au and/or NZ curricula (primary and secondary)
  • a detailed understanding of the APAC educational technology market
  • excellent knowledge of, and experience with, a wide range of classroom pedagogies as applied to educational technologies
  • the ability to ability to write coherent, concise and accurate content briefs regarding teaching and learning Literacy
  • experience working in an Agile team environment and contributing to Sprint goals (preferred)
  • Ideally you will be a passionate and experienced teacher who:

  • can build and maintain strong relationships, both internally and externally, with the ability to synthesize Voice of the Customer to impact the product
  • communicates clearly and effectively
  • is passionate about translating Literacy curricula in educationally rigorous and highly engaging teaching and learning experiences
  • is flexible in their approach to working hours to meet the requirements of a global team working in different time zones
  • keeps up to date with the educational competitor landscape
  • thrives in a fast paced, strongly team-oriented environment
