Position Summary Lead the Trading Activation of addressable marketing strategies via a team through market understanding, solution development skills, technical DSP/DMP/CDP expertise, and the communication of Matterkind recommendations through trusted agency & client relationships to meet client media objectives. The Trading Manager ensures all pacing and performance goals are met across all Addressable campaigns. They are also responsible for the training, mentorship, and delegation of tasks to their direct reports, and are expected to be leaders in strategic thinking and optimization tactics. Ability to compare/contrast ad tech partners and recommend the best tools for a particular campaign are key. As Trading Manager you work directly with the Addressable Trading Director and Head of Client Advisory to provide Trading expertise to key clients, whilst supporting the development of the Trading team. Job Responsibilities Partnership 1.Develop and nurture strong relationships with Agency team and direct clients to become a trusted source of Trading knowledge, owning the Trading relationship of a client portfolio. 2.Manage relationships with AdTech vendors and media partners to remain at the forefront of industry changes, uncover benefits and opportunities for clients to deliver business outcomes. 3.Collaborate with the Client Advisory team to extract optimal campaign performance and fulfill client objectives. Assist CA in brief responses and attend meetings as required. Product 1.Provide insights to your Client Services and/or Agency Teams to assist with the overall digital strategy of future campaigns. 2.Work with your Programmatic & Ad Ops Lead and the Digital Technology Manager to drive a culture of technology testing within your team. 3.Lead Trading team campaign optimization strategies, training on new strategies and review/evaluation of these to communicate with wider team. 4.Expand campaign optimisation framework for Senior & Trading Managers 5.Collaborate with Client Advisory & Product teams to initiate bespoke projects based on brand requirements, supporting digital acceleration and transformation. Profile 1.Provide agency partners with thought leadership and education via curation of case studies for internal knowledge share. 2.Present relevant topics to the wider business to promote MTK solutions/results and share knowledge. 3.Participation in industry events for Matterkind representation and individual network growth. Performance 1.Identify Trading team knowledge gaps to familiarize with Matterkind solutions. 2.Lead campaign KPI fulfilment on behalf of team portfolio. Collaborate with Client Advisory team to extract optimal campaign performance, fulfill client objectives and hero campaign results through an insights led approach. 3.Assist in implementing processes to drive efficiencies within your team, identifying to continue to grow the teams’ abilities and knowledge. 4.Lead innovation and test & learn projects. 5.Identify digital growth opportunities for clients via channel diversification and MarTech infrastructure evaluation. People 1.Mentor, train and coach Client Advisory Associate (hybrid coordinator) and Trading Managers through an on-boarding and development framework. 2.Provide daily direction to direct reports via task management and prioritization in line with agency requests and client SLA’s. 3.Accountable for fostering culture within the team.
