We have an immediate opportunity for an experienced document /policy manager to join Silver Chain Group in the position of Manager, Best Care Document System on a PERMANENT FULL TIME basis.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
Relevant tertiary qualification in health science or similar
Previous experience and expertise in document management
Previous experience in administration of a formalised, application-based document management system is highly desirable.
Experience in project management tools and associated applications is desirable.
Well-developed communication (verbal, written and listening) and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders, health professionals and senior managers.
Demonstrated time management and organisational skills to effectively plan and prioritise work.
Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and together with a team focus to participate, lead or contribute to the Quality and Safety Unit and organisational objectives.
Demonstrated advanced computer literacy in Microsoft office applications, word processing, databases and management system software to prepare correspondence, reports and effective documentation.
Ability to adapt to and utilise new and emerging information and communication technologies.
Administratively support key users of the Best Care Document Management System to ensure the effective updating and communication of policy changes
Receive and disseminate policy/legislation/regulatory body changes and safety notification alerts to ensure currency within each state and nationwide.
You will work across various divisions to identify compliance gaps.
Support the Best Care Document Management System processes that facilitate the updating of Silver Chains policies and associated documents.
In consultation with the Director, Quality and Safety, update policies to ensure legislation is compliant with regulatory requirements and contractual expectations.
Undertake audit of specific clinical and corporate functions as delegated.
Assist in the management of the National Policy Framework.
Provide support to the Quality and Safety Unit.
