  • We have an immediate opportunity for an experienced document /policy manager to join Silver Chain Group in the position of Manager, Best Care Document System on a PERMANENT FULL TIME basis.

    To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in health science or similar 
  • Previous experience and expertise in document management 
  • Previous experience in administration of a formalised, application-based document management system is highly desirable.
  • Experience in project management tools and associated applications is desirable.
  • Well-developed communication (verbal, written and listening) and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders, health professionals and senior managers.
  • Demonstrated time management and organisational skills to effectively plan and prioritise work.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and together with a team focus to participate, lead or contribute to the Quality and Safety Unit and organisational objectives.
  • Demonstrated advanced computer literacy in Microsoft office applications, word processing, databases and management system software to prepare correspondence, reports and effective documentation.
  • Ability to adapt to and utilise new and emerging information and communication technologies.
  • Key responsibilities

  • Administratively support key users of the Best Care Document Management System to ensure the effective updating and communication of policy changes
  • Receive and disseminate policy/legislation/regulatory body changes and safety notification alerts to ensure currency within each state and nationwide.
  • You will work across various divisions to identify compliance gaps.
  • Support the Best Care Document Management System processes that facilitate the updating of Silver Chains policies and associated documents.
  • In consultation with the Director, Quality and Safety, update policies to ensure legislation is compliant with regulatory requirements and contractual expectations.
  • Undertake audit of specific clinical and corporate functions as delegated.
  • Assist in the management of the National Policy Framework.
  • Provide support to the Quality and Safety Unit.
