Security NSW is growing and we are looking for a Manager to lead our Business
&amp; Strategy Team in Sydney. The Business &amp; Strategy Team is a new
centralised function focusing on business operations, reaching across all areas
and providing a holistic view on finance, operations and initiatives. <br><br>This is a
great opportunity to join a growing organisation and contribute to the success
of Cyber Security NSW. No two days will be the same as you lead business
strategies and oversee initiatives and finances, providing analysis, advice and
recommendations across a range of issues, both general and specialised, to
deliver internal objectives and support change.<br><strong><br></strong><em>Key
accountabilities for the Manager, Business and Strategy will include:</em></p><br><ul><li>Develop and implement financial management controls across business operations; providing authoritative advice to address organisation wide issues to meet financial obligations and enable effective service delivery.</li><li>Collaborate with key senior stakeholders and teams to manage budgeting and expenditure to facilitate effective operation.</li><li>Develop and maintain effective relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, to consult and gain support for the implementation of business reforms to increase commitment to the delivery of initiatives.</li><li>Manage and drive administrative practices, systems, procedures and projects, applying best practice methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to expected standards.</li><li>Lead and manage the process of strategic and business planning and reporting on initiatives and projects.</li><li>Lead and drive team management, work planning, and professional development, aligning team resources to deliver relevant, high quality and efficient outputs.</li></ul><br><p><strong>About you</strong><br><em>The ideal candidate will
have the following skills and experience:</em></p><br><ul><li>Qualifications and/or relevant industry experience in business, finance, and/or operations.</li><li>Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to foster effective working relationships and provide advice and guidance to stakeholders at all levels.</li><li>Experience in, or understanding of, the implementation of the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF).<br></li></ul><br><p><em>Essential Requirements</em><br>Australian citizenship with the successful applicant having, or being
able to attain and maintain, a baseline security clearance or higher as a
condition of employment.<br><br><strong>Salary Grade 11/12,</strong> with the base salary for this role starting at $131,094 plus
