**The opportunity**

Due to growth, we currently have an opportunity for a Manager to join
our Infrastructure Advisory practice in our Brisbane office. EY’s Oceania
Infrastructure Advisory practice is a leading advisor to government and private
sector clients in strategy, economic, commercial, financial and transaction
advisory services. Our advice spans the project lifecycle across the transport,
power and utilities and social infrastructure sectors.

We are seeking self-motivated, diligent and personable applicants who
are keen to join our trusted, market-leading team, collaborate with others and
solve complex problems. This role is client facing and offers the opportunity
to take responsibility for the delivery of projects, teams and advice.

**Your key responsibilities**

+ Provide strategic, economic,financial, commercial and transaction advice to inform our clients’ decisionmaking at various project phases including strategy and planning, business casedevelopment, and during transactions

+ Manage engagements, projectteams and prepare high quality client deliverables in a timely manner,independently or collaboratively as appropriate

+ Support the development ofjunior staff including by playing a strong role in mentoring and providingpragmatic feedback, both constructive and supportive

+ Contribute to businessdevelopment activities including proposal development and fostering clientrelationships and networks

+ Collaborate with people acrossStrategy and Transactions, as well as the broader EY team to support servicedelivery outcomes and cross-teaming

+ Be proactive and present –positively contribute to culture, participate in learning and trainingopportunities and foster inclusive teaming

**Skills and attributes for success**

**Required**

+ A minimum of 4-5 years professionalexperience in a relevant role or sector. For example, this experience couldhave been gained in an accounting or law firm, management consultancy,engineering practice, investment bank, infrastructure firm, private sectorindustry participant, or within any level of government

+ Relevant experience in majorprojects and infrastructure and/or a strong interest in developing a career inthis sector

+ Excellent interpersonal andclient management skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectivelyin internal and external forums

+ Advanced report writing,analysis, problem solving and general commercial skills and acumen

+ Ability to lead and managemultiple projects / people concurrently, and effectively prioritise competingdemands

+ Tertiary qualification/s infinance, commerce, law, economics, engineering, mathematics or other relevantsubject areas

**Ideally, you’ll also have**

+ A proactive, supportive andrespectful approach to their team, and able to function under pressure but alsodemonstrate judgment in asking for help when required
