Based at **Gepps Cross** in **Adelaide,**and reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, we have a fantastic opportunity for an agile, innovative and solutions focused **Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineer** to our team. As part of our high performing team of over 300 people, you will be involved with the manufacturing of the iconic Clipsal brand of products, a household name in South Australia since the 1920’s.

With key investments in being made in robotics and automation, you will work on exciting projects in conjunction with the planning, implementation and continuous improvements of lean manufacturing systems and processes aligned with our strategic business initiatives.

**Whilst not wanting to narrow the field, we do believe that the following will be key to your success:**

* Experience in a modern smart manufacturing environment including significant exposure to robotics and automation
* Exposure and technical expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Production Performance Management Systems, Kaizen and VSM
* Demonstrated experience in project managing the introduction of new systems and equipment
* A tertiary qualification in an engineering discipline is preferred although trade qualifications with relevant smart manufacturing exposure will be considered
* Being Digitally savvy whilst having great Interpersonal and Leadership skills
