Minimum qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

+ 5 years of work experience in marketing, consulting, or a related field.

Preferred qualifications:

+ Experience at a management consulting firm, creative, or media agency, brand advertiser, or other role requiring analytical problem solving, quantitative analysis, marketing, and communicating findings to management.

+ Demonstrated analytical success and capacity for developing and understanding strategy.

+ Understanding of Google’s products and technology industry.

+ Interest in technology, creativity to “think outside the box,” and leadership to execute effectively.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, distinctive problem solving and analysis skills, and strong interpersonal skills, as well as impeccable business judgment.

Whether you’re on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product’s journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the voice of the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you’ll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

As a Product Manager in Brand and Reputation Marketing, you will demonstrate the impact of Google’s economic, cultural, and social commitments in Australia and New Zealand through delightful and timely campaigns, programs, and stories. You will elevate Google’s local brand and reputation to influential non-profit, corporate, and public sector audiences. You will communicate our efforts and impact to key opinion formers including policy makers, business leaders, and social responsibility experts.

+ Lead new economic, social, and cultural contribution programs from conceptualization, strategy, planning to execution of initiatives, localization of content, partnerships, communication/PR plans, and integrated brand campaigns.

+ Bring to life the Google brand, voice, mission, and values in a single cohesive narrative around Google’s commitment to the country throughout the different initiatives that are launched.

+ Drive strategic projects and initiatives across disparate products, themes, and functions and create industry-leading narratives and moments that impact the brand across our core audiences.

+ Identify and develop key marketing operations processes to improve overall organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
