The Role:
We are seeking Trainee Medical Registrars to join a dedicated team, working in a level 3, Teaching Hospital. This is an attractive opportunity due to the complexity of the medical illnesses as well as the challenging psychosocial circumstances.

The rich clinical experience at Hospital has resulted in a strong link between the Division of Medicine and clinicians from Oxford, UK. There are regular visiting specialists from UK who come for the unique tropical clinical experience. There is the possibility of our clinicians going to the UK also. mutually beneficial manner

The Hospital:
The Hospital has 345 beds servicing a population of over 140,000 it has a diverse population including urban, regional and remote centres.

This is the main tertiary referral centre for Northern Australia with the capacity to manage a wide range of clinical conditions. In the clinical setting the Northern Territory offers some of the most unique opportunities and clinical presentations not seen in other parts of Australia.

You will enjoy a tropical savanna climate, typically sits at 25-33°C all year round. Unlike the rest of Australia, which experiences four distinct seasons, you will only experience 2 here, The Dry and The Wet.

Skills & Qualifications required:
To be successful in applying for this position you must be registered with AHPRA.
BPT – PGY3 and above
AT – Clincial and Pracitcal exams successfully completed
